MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

I was driving quite slowly (for me) on the M9 heading in towards Edinburgh yesterday evening when a grey Trophy came up from behind and overtook me, flashing his lights quickly as he did so. I can't think of any other reason for the light-flash, so if it was any of you saying hi, consider yourselves waved to.

I also saw a lovely red MG4 and a Tango Trophy on my travels.

OMG, I've just seen an Ealing Green X-Power parked up in Thirsk Market Place, I couldn't get a picture because I was driving, but it looked bloody stunning, I hope the owner is on here. :)
There's a 26 plate Ealing Green round the corner from us. That colour is fantastic.

Saw an older twin yesterday in Greenwich Sainsbury.

Still cannot decide if I like the black roof more. I wonder how it would compare to the orange when it comes to bird crap etc..

I think I like the wheels better on the black top version.

Triple Smurf today, although not all at the same time. I was driving into a small village (Carlops on the A702) to pick up a passenger from a house at the side of the main road. As I approached I saw a Trophy Smurf parked in the line of cars to my left, but perhaps 50 yards short of the house I was aiming for. As I looked he pulled out and continued up the road. I remarked that I hoped that hadn't confused Les, whom I was going to pick up.

Indeed it had, he had seen the car while looking out for me and thought, why isn't she stopping? But then he said he noticed the spoilers which he didn't think my car had, and then seconds later I pulled up outside his house.

A few miles further on we met another Smurf heading the other way, I think this was an SE though I'm not sure. I waved, and this time I got a wave back.

Further on still, getting into Edinburgh, we met a Tango coming the other way, but no wave this time.

Sad that you were let down by a non-waving Tango - I hope that they try harder

I saw some MG4s on the trip up to Nottingham last week, mostly on the opposite side of the dualled carriageway so no chance to wave.

One was a fellow grey '23.

Not sure if that was the one which followed directly behind us up the A43 for a number of miles. Harder to wave at someone behind you so I didn't manage.
