No, I just extracted the file to a 32GB USB drive and used it in the car as is on the update page.Just downloaded the zip file. @Kithmo, did you add in the VN.txt file - I had to remove it for the last update and the 'file verification' (no suffix) file.
I got this Version from the MG Germany Website, but i think that this covers EU and UK still counts to EU. Even after your wish to leaveThank you for the information. Can you please confirm that the UK is covered by this update?

If you have issues with a missing VN.txt file add this file manually to the USB Stick - This info is from the German MG4 Forum:Strange, I see this message when try to update. MG4 Lux 2023 year version.
Another map update download was made using my MG4 VIN number to –

Simply add a VN.txt file with the content “pass” (without quotation marks) under the Version.txt file.
