MG5 Long Range - real range ?

I normally use Regen 3 when driving on country roads as I like the way it helps slow the car without me needing to use the brake pedal so much.
Having said that it can be temperamental as sometimes the regen doesn't kick in the way you expect. Sometimes the transfer from lift off regen to brake pedal regen and back again is not as smooth as it should be and sometimes lift off regen is not there at all when expected.
This is in a PFL LR 2021 model so maybe a firmware update is required but when I asked my dealer about updates they didn't know what I was talking about.

As a matter of interest, does the facelift MG5 default to level 2 regen on startup like the pre-facelift one ?

Yes Normal, level 2 regen at start up
