But it makes sense to have been type approved before it was built so it must be 2/12/22 build date in American as suggested.

I wonder what other people have on their certificate?

There's a thread elsewhere on here saying that MG forgot to add a bunch of cars to their cloud server, so they can't be bound to until that's fixed. Maybe yours is one of them.

Date format YYYY/MM/DD is not American it's the ISO international standard date form. American only differs from the rest of the world as they use MM/DD/YYYY rather than DD/MM/YYYY

For all the nerds out there it's ISO 8601

Ok so it must be American date format- and they are inconsistent having the model type approval date in reverse european format!

MG4s seem to be flooding in now. When I picked mine up last Thursday from Parks Irvine their car park was packed to overflowing with MGs.

Lots of sightings of MG4s around Ayr. My son visited yesterday and said he thought he had seen me twice that morning but I had not been out.

Hopefully all those who are still waiting will get their cars soon.

On a positive note, my car has behaved flawlessly and apart from a tiny scratch on the rear bumper was delivered minus the dreaded air scoops and so far no oil leak. Fingers ?.

My Tusker ordered MG4 that is being supplied by Perrys is suddenly in the UK and being delivered early April. This was ordered early Oct 22

I know others have ordered similar time through the same route so thought I’d make mention here

It’s seems there has been a sizeable delivery to the UK of late reading these threads

Yep, mine appears to have arrived in the UK now too. Ordered in December 2022

Yep, mine appears to have arrived in the UK now too. Ordered in December 2022

Delivery times seem to be random, I ordered in November 2022 and Tusker has said it's on the way (no ship name) for late April, but the dealer says it'll be here late March.

Tusker hasn't really inspired a lot of confidence in me at all to be fair.

Nope same here unfortunately, I had released from factory for a week then suddenly a phone all arranging delivery.
Think the supplier is better reference than Tusker

100% the dealership is better, mine still states "Released From Factory" online.

Emailed Tusker and dealership at the same time, Tusker took almost 2 weeks to write back and the dealership took 2 days!

Asked Tusker for a ship name, nothing, emailed the dealership, hoping they get back to me with something.

Our MG4 has been a Portbury nearly 2 months now.

It's been due for delivery at the dealer 'this week' since late February.

The dealer has 21 MG4s overdue since February and every weekday gets a delivery slot that never arrives. 7 were due yesterday, then today and another 7 tomorrow this week alone but none seem to arrive.

The dealer is as you would imagine, frustrated!
