POLL : MG4 Xpower Steering Vibration

The dealers themselves often have no idea- I don’t have a XPower but with others parts I have similar experience (MG just isn’t very picky with who they choose as a service provider).

I disagree, I mentioned dealer and MG UK as MG UK pull their strings.
Here is an email from MG on the Friday stating that they would fix my car

Then by the Monday morning, an email to say that wouldn't and have decided to call it a characteristic. I must have missed this in the brochure under 'extra features'.
So after 2yrs of vibration, I'm rejecting the car through my finance company

I don't think we've seen that specific document before, but it seems to relate to the first "fix" they tried which was proven to not work.

The document linked by @jamakr4 doesn't appear to be the 2 stage fix? Rather it's the original steering damper fix?

Sorry to hear that. I mostly had issue with the service of the dealer e.g mechanics that can’t tell the difference between left and right or they told me I lost warranty on my TMPS due to me changing the tyres.

Well, after two years I'm at the point of going to court with non-conformity issue as well. MG claims they tested the fault, and stated the car is working properly. I have a 1,5 hr video proving it doesn't. Tomorrow, I will test again on a specific road MG claims to have seen the car working properly. If it doesn't, the recording will show it. My lawyer will love it.

I'm pretty fed up with dealers in general. Even a brand I considered to work at a high standard, just yesterday tried to rip off my daughter billing her for a 750 euro tax that is already paid for by the first owner (of her new car). Of course she didn't know. They did. Nevertheless...

It has both fixes steering wheel and suspension on the document
