Poorly fitted heater?

This is how my heater is fitted, gaps and lots of foam showing. Is mine badly fitted or is everyone's else's like this?

I never noticed it either, but I had to have a look after @L0rdMike posted this.

Mine is the same.

The panel in front of the heater blocks the view, so you don't notice it when you open the bonnet.

Think mine's ok, perhaps very slight if you want to nit pick. Thought I'dve noticed that before now. With my OCD, I can live with that.

MG have definitely improved this for the 2026 model, this is how the new one looks.
