Of course you can. Mine stood still and unused for more than 5 weeks in Feb-Mar this year. Operated like it was used the day before when I got back. Again in June, sat for 15 days and again, no issues whatsoever driving it away when I got back.

Sweeping statements such as "the fact that you can't leave th non-working car. e car for two weeks unattended" are totally unfounded and incorrect.

However that is what I experienced and it left me with a dead car. I totally agree with you. But i am not the one to take the fight with the "big guys". Let's leave it as it is, but it might be a warning for some of us.
