Wallbox - PULSAR PLUS issue

Hello!

So I have recently bought an MG4 Luxury.
At home we installed a Wallbox Pulsar Plus.

I have trouble charging the car at home. It barely charges. Sometimes I get the message: ‘Connected, not charging’. Other times if it does connect it only charges at 2kwH. And then it disconnects out of nowhere.

My dad bought a MG ZS Comfort and has no trouble charging at home. Myself have no problem charging somewhere else at public chargers.

I contacted the garage and they assumed it was a problem with the wallbox. The Wallbox company assured it was a problem of the car. No definitive answer.

I don’t know if anyone else had the same problem. If so, how did you solve this?

My MG4 SE SR charges at home perfectly fine on my Wallbox Pulsar Plus. Have you checked in the app in case there are any firmware updates for the charge point?

I currently run the wallbox on the v6.4.14 software. The auto-update is enabled.

We have also tried restarting the wallbox but without success.

Mine's the same version.

Have you tried powering off the box at the breaker, give it a minute or two and then powering back on? (And then trying a car charge). Just read that you've tried this.

very strange - can't help much (as mine has always worked for nearly 24 months, home work etc.), albeit not a wallbox), sounds like a software incompatability if it works elsewhere. Call dealer / MG assist?

The only difference between mine and @Quinten's cars is that mine's an SE.

@Quinten have you tried other AC charge points to rule out the car being the issue? (Several Trophy/Luxury cars have had CCU issues affecting AC charging, especially those cars which support 3-phase AC charging).
