Exactly, it seems like a ploy so when you get to October, and they look at it and say "well you didn't bring it in when you first noticed it, so it's really your fault, and thus the warranty doesn't cover neglect".That's terrible, there should always be somebody there who can do whatever is required to start a warranty claim with MG Motors, in this case it should require no more than taking the owner and vehicle details, and taking some photographs for a report to MG.
There is no reason whatsoever why it should have to wait until the vehicle is in for service, what happens if there is also nobody available on that day, does it have to wait till your next service?
Very poor.
