I had a minor sideway "adventure too. Since CC2's had no issues, feels so much more planted
Not had that with mine. I'm still on the OEM tyres, I've had them chirp on pulling away a few times but that's nothing compared to the ridiculous squealing from my old FWD Focus ST with just over half the power.

The sideways just adds to the excitement, it's the 360* viewing through the windscreen and trying to catch the look on the drivers faces as they flash across the viewing area that really gets the heart going, but I am impressed with the way all 4 tyres let go at the same time ..... almost get to stay on your side of the road as you go round ......

LKA doesn’t work for a lot of us
Some suggestions;
-ignore the regulators etc - give us a 4 star car that doesn’t force LKA on at start up
-change the function of the wheel ACC button. When ACC is off, make long press disable LKA
-remove the confirm step on the touch screen

When we choose traction control off, turn it off
Its dangerous when im pulling out onto the highway on a blind corner, for the car to completely lose power when traction control is turned off and the wheels spin. There is a special place in hell for whichever engineer was responsible for that

Not sure I'm getting what you're meaning ... if the wheels spin whilst TC is Off then surely that's working as intended? Or are you meaning that it detects the wheels starting to spin so cuts the power, even if TC is Off? (So TC is never really Off fully).

Yup, it detects the wheels starting to spin so cuts the power, even if TC is Off. So TC is never really Off fully

Could it be a system designed to save the motor from damage when the wheels start spinning? It may not be intended to act as a form of TC, even if it effectively does so.

I suspect it's a software nanny to prevent unskilled owners from sending their cars sideways into shrubberies. But … I bought a car with 600 Nm and 4 wheel drive for a reason. Instead of letting me use it, the car does the exact opposite- it hobbles itself. I’ve got one place in particular where in normal everyday driving I need to be careful (traction control on or off) to only give it half throttle to prevent being stranded on a highway in a dangerous spot unable to accelerate.

most likely its a star rating thingy ( not unlike the 5 star rating requires LKA on by default to achieve the rating)

There is a fuse ive been told by a MG dealer that if you pull it out NO more TC , stability control..

Which one i dont know !!

Never bothered to go looking for it ..

Unskilled or not the car isnt made for 320kw and 600nm with out driver aids ..

Im not sure even in the hands of a very skilled driver that the weight the power and the chassis is up to the task of the sheer grunt the car has without the aids ..

Frankly ive be scared to bother with trying to find the fuse to turn off TC stability control as like ive said i dont think the car as a whole is upto it ..

My volvo s60 t6 r design was 250kw and that car was built and built well enough to handle it in all conditions the MG4 X power is a cheap road legal rocket that is WAY to powerful for its means !!

Ive noticed though in most cases wet or dry less throttle results in better take off with out the TC stepping in and shutting down power ..

All the while still getting off the mark quite fast !!
