Would you buy an MG 4 again?

I don't think there are tyre pressure issues. I just think people have the pressures a bit on the low side, so in the cold weather they drop a bit further and set off the warning. If you have the tyres up at 2.5 cold, it doesn't happen.

Which is no different from driving w. th young children who need stops to eat, drink and poo. Which a significant proportion of adults have done or are doing. You make it sound more complicated than it is.
I am sorry you feel that way. Owing to the lack of Charging Infrastructure vis-a-vis Petrol/Diesel stations there are extra issues to the ones you have identified above. I was trying to point out that full preparation is needed until the car's software is dependable and EV charging infrastructure is reliable.

My post was in response to stringrayMG4 who had a bad journey with his car. In July I travelled in the area he listed - 200 miles each way to Lowestoft. Prior to my journey I looked at all the charging opportunities en route identifying my major break point and alternatives. I identified a new charging just south of Newark, in case I was low on charge on my return and stopped near Boston because of the multiple charging options (note good chips at the Chain Bridge Pub). On the way to Lowestoft I checked out the new Norwich Gridserve Plaza where I charged on my return sufficiently that I did not need to charge again before Sheffield. Again, there were other opportunities nearby if the Gridserve machines did not work. En-route I identified optional chargers - eg Tesco Extras with PodPoints - for emergencies and loo-breaks.

This Forum is replete with posts of satisfactory long journeys made but always, I believe with full preparation.

I will not go back to a ICE car.

Less than 4 weeks in, but, yes, I would. Serious value for money (compared with other EVs), makes me smile every time I pass a petrol station, doing my bit for the planet.
Worst thing: has to be the infotainment screen; playing USB music is a #%*§.
Annoyance No. 1: leaving a built up area and realising I have not cancelled the LKA.
Winter annoyance: no rear light.
But I love it.

The MacMaster just did a demo of the top of the range Porsche Taycan with its 0-60 acceleration of 2.6 seconds. Rip-your-face-off territory, and costs well into six figures.

He was moaning about the software.

Just had my car in for some updates. In the mean time drove a Honda Jass and MG ZS electric. No contest. MG4 is the best drive. Not only the drive, the joy sticks are unbelievable compare to having to look for the buttons to press. Would buy and buy again.

Yes.
So far so good.
Minor annoyance of turning off the LKA everytime, seriously overshadowed by all the positives of owning this car.

Excellent driving dynamics, extremely cheap to run and own.
Great to look at.
Easy to clean.(Matte paint specific)
I can power my home and charge up my battery bank with V2L.
(Completly off grid, Solar only)

Perfect size for the wife and I.
I find the interface quick and easy to navigate.
Smooth and quiet 99 percent of the time.
Unhinged nutjob for the other 1 percent.
(Please adjust percentages to suit your own personal taste 🤣)
Secretly enjoy all the "double takes" I get when out and about.

Cured the dark interior with LED courtesy lights, and a cheap and easy to fit set of LEDs from Amazon.
Choose any interior colour you want.
Lights up the front and rear footwells.

As I say, so far so good, but who knows what the future may bring?
I am in this for the long haul and expect to own this car for many years to come.

Lights can be fitted wherever you like.
Pictures below are my preference.

To be fair, he's set up a career moaning about his Taycan.... I personaly question his validity, if he's THAT dis-satisfied with EV motoring, why perpetuate his trauma , trade it in for an ICE and stop plaguing youTube with moan videos

To the inital question would I buy the 4 again - Nope !
Mine is perfectly Brill now & cant see me moving it on for quiet a few years - Its just getting better the more miles I do - Especially as the s/w has now been sorted v46 .. Would I upgrade to a X-Power .. HMMM now that's a tough one... ignore the depreciation of my Trophy .. I DO LIKE THE MATT GREEN !!

As to the LED Lights that @Bricktop1967 has - two sets in basket .. 4 & Zs ..
Question is I wonder if I can I use a USB c to USB OTG Adapter for it to be plumbed ? As my iPhone uses my USB A port lol ....

Use the rear passenger usb, then tuck wires down one side.
Neat, tidy and out of the way.
Sadly, they don't come on til your bum hits the seat. ( I just press down the back portion of the seat before I get in)
You could wire them into the courtesy light system, but I imagine it would be a massive pain.

I'd forgotten the rear USB - Having NEVER sat in the back lol....

But that will do nicely ....

Will see what I can do re the ZS after I collect it Saturday
