If you have make sure you are using the same login details that you first used. i.e. if you used your phone number to log in use your phone number not your email address and visa versa.
If you have never been bound in the app then the previous owner/user hasn't unbound themselves, in which case you need to email MG's customer services with a copy of the car's V5 (log book) and proof of ownership so they can reset the account.
I eventually got it working. Didnt realise that is was the screen with the 2 QR codes. I pressed the Connect Vehicle and scanned to right hand QR code, had to try and magnify it for it to work, then it asked me for a PIN.
