Apparently its something to do with the MG4 broadcasting a different Bluetooth mac identifier each time the car is restarted. The iPhone can't latch on as what it paired to the previous time is no longer being broadcasted.

This sums up my experience too. I am getting used to LKA. I didn't like it at first but now find it okay. TJA on the other hand - it is way too strong and not accurate and handling steering.
