MG4 1 year on, the good and bad

Ok, so lets do good stuff first. We got the orange trophy edition, all bells and whistles. This car is a dream to drive, excellent handling and goes like 💩 of a shovel. Have driven a LOT, in all kinds of weather (blizzard weather in Sweden too) and it’s been great. Really can’t fault it in...

2023 MG4 Second Best Selling EV UK.

In 2023, the MG4 sold 21,715 and was 2nd only to the Tesla Model Y at 35,899 cars (according to the SMMT Data). The much more expensive VW ID3 was in 6th place at 10,295. Pretty good going. Wonder how it is selling elsewhere.

Thank you MG, for this glorious XPower

So I was diagnosed with OCD and social anxiety 15 years ago and I have really struggled with the anxiety part for a few years now, where it has got to a point i'd rarely leave the house...even though I have owned a car since passing my driving test during this period. They have all been old...

Perfect spot for the fifth headrest

For those who've removed the centre headrest to improve rear vision I've found that, rather than leaving it at home or have it loose in the boot, it fits perfectly between the back of the front seats if you put the two prongs into the centre console storage space. It hasn't moved in over 2,000...

1 week to go - Excited is an understatement.

My MG4 SE Standard Range in Arctic (Dover White) is only a week away from being delivered from Nathaniel Cars in Bridgend. I am getting quite excited now in as much I nabbed a stock photo to have as my computer wallpaper. I have had excellent communication from them and also from Tusker as the...

Car dead after 2 weeks, won't open

Owned my MG4 for about a year now. Been on holiday for 3.5 weeks and after 2 weeks it stopped responding to the app. I know it had plenty of battery so what's happened? Won't even unlock. Does that mean the 12v battery is dead? If so that's not very good is it. Thank god I didn't take it to the...

    Extended Range and RWD

Hi, does anyone have any experience of the new extended range MG4, the one with the 77KW battery? What levels of efficiency i.e. miles perKwH are you getting? Any specific likes/dislikes? Also for those who have an MG4 of any type how do you find the rear wheel drive if you have moved from a...

    Thank you from Australia

I’ve been following this forum and some other groups for most of this year. In early March we placed a deposit on an MG4 subject to various conditions just before the official Australian release announcement. Stocks finally arrived in Adelaide early in September and a great test drive led to a...

    Confusion

To avoid confusion between this forums participants could everyone say which of the now 8 versions , 3, 2022 and 5, 2023 models you have or referring to when posting. The generality of MG4 in reality does now not exist. Cheers.

    A word of warning

I have a Trophy. On the centre storage cover which slides back to open do NOT leave loose coins. If you open the cover with coins on it or even brake a bit hard the coins slow back and disappear into the interior of the ! Can see how to retrieve. Just hope metal coins 3x £1 and 2x 0.50p do not...
