CarPlay is an Apple standard that enables a car radio or head unit to be a display and controller for an iOS device. It is available on iPhone 5 and later models running iOS 7.1 or later.
According to Apple, more than 800 car models support CarPlay through a USB connection. Some vehicles also allow devices to connect through a wireless connection; wireless support can also be added through aftermarket dongles.Vehicles without CarPlay can have vehicle audio products from automotive aftermarket suppliers fitted.

    Is the video format the same as it was on the ZS ? I have a USB stick with some music in .mp3 format and some films on in .m4v format that played ok on my old Gen 1 ZS. On the MG4 the music plays ok but the car can't see the films it just displays "no video" on the screen.
