flap

Has anyone had this issue with the charging flap. It has started to stick out in the top corner. Raised it with the garage and they are supposedly contacting MG for a claim but said it would be ‘unlikely’!

Cars fully unlocked… hit the charging flap to open it and nothing happens. Just keep spam hitting it until it finally decides to open. Anyone else have this issue and is there a fix? Am I just pressing it wrong to open it?

Bit embarrassing today… Drove 60miles to office, arrived and pulled in to charge so I could get home later. Charging flap would not open. Pressed, thumped, wiggled but no joy. 5litres of warm water later and still wouldn’t open. Lock car, unlock car x10 but nothing worked. Called AA and...

My charge flap has stopped latching closed and does not lock. It just stays open. MG want to charge me £450 for a replacement. Car still under warranty - why is this not covered? Warranty is incredibly POOR?
