infotainment system

In-car entertainment (ICE), or in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), is a collection of hardware and software in automobiles that provides audio or video entertainment. In car entertainment originated with car audio systems that consisted of radios and cassette or CD players, and now includes automotive navigation systems, video players, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, carputers, in-car internet, and WiFi. Once controlled by simple dashboards knobs and dials, ICE systems can include steering wheel audio controls, handsfree voice control, touch-sensitive preset buttons, and even touch screens on higher-end units.

    Infotainment system fault

    MG ZS ev Excite Infotainment system cuts out for approx 10 seconds when driving. This is an intermittent problem. Has happened about 3 times in the 2 months I’ve owned this car. 2020/21 model.

    Hi all Today put my infotainment system into standby but when I pressed the on button it just stops in standby , even when I put it in reverse no picture also when operating blower same as , just the standby screen with the time on it. Anyone any ideas please ?

    MG ZE EV infotainment system froze, then ok the next day. Anyone else experience this?

    Had the info entertainment system freeze, clock stopped could not change radio station also reversing camera would not work,next day all back and running again. Has anyone else had this hapoen
