3d printed auto light sensor cover

The one I got from @Crawfyp I simply cut/filed away the pattern bars so I effectively ended up with an open top. :) (I have covered mine with a strip of Sellotape).

How long do you expect the Sellotape to last in the sunlight??!! (Mind you, I do have some "ultra-clear" Sellotape that doesn't degrade.)

Well it's been in place for months now - even during that scorching weather we had in June - and shows no signs of peeling off. :)

I'm thinking of adding some thin clear perspex and will try it out totally clear first then if it's still twitchy I'll scuff it up using scotchbrite which should diffuse the light more

In my experience you want as little interference with the light as possible. I ran around for a while with the naked sensor and it was fine.

I had that one first, but it was still bringing the lights on too early, when they didn't come on with no cover. It's nice-looking though.

If needs be I’ll cut it.
