While you're here I don't know the ZS at all, just thought I'd get the manuals whilst I still had time left, do the folders on the Google drive make sense or should I put all the manuals in 1 folder? At the moment they are split into MCE, ZS, ZS E & ZS11

Well I'm glad I bought a day pass this time as VDS software kept crashing the laptop so ended up taking my pc (micro Asus one) & monitor out to the car

A little disappointed all other cars I've connected to there's been parameters you can configure, couldn't find anything on this car
Went through SIPS & VDS, can software load modules, read DTC's, calibrate & carry out some testing
Updated everything it'd let me, HVAC & drivers seat said complete a couple of times but still reported the old version as well as Tbox wouldn't let me update without updating via USB first
On either software & RMI website I couldn't find the USB updates to download so still on R40 but most other modules are the latest

Cruise control now has 1mph increments from single touch
LKA no where near as bad
It now accelerates quicker
That's all I've noticed so far from 1 drive up the motorway & back

When you say accelerate quicker, you talking abou that the car is getting to 100% power quicker?

Accelerates better from a standstill, guess its probably due to getting to 100% quicker
It's still quicker than original but doesn't feel as quick as it was the first couple of days after the update, guess it was either due to it resetting it's learning or I've gotten used to it & it's still the same as after the update

I have a Mark 1 ZS EV, but don't know the other ZS models. I assume that the other models are rather different, and/or you only want/need to access the manual that is closest to the model you have. So I would guess that separate Google Drive folders for each of the ZS models would be best.

Though if the manuals are a single giant PDF file, then all in one folder would be ok, perhaps even slightly more convenient if you don't know which model is closest to the one you have, initially. But I assume that car manuals are usually hundreds of separate PDF files that link to each other.

Sounds cool. Unfortunately i can't do the updates myself. How much time it really takes for the dealer to update all the systems?

Umm, dealer yes, took about 3 to 3½ hours to do everything but I let the battery get a little low & bricked a module, then took approx 45mins to reprogram that module
In all I spent approx 5 hours software loading as 2 modules wouldn't load as well
If you want to do everything then I'd say buy a day, if you're just updating/replacing 1 module then an hour should be fine

I don't know to do that. I also not from EU. Its a shame that the dealers refuse to do all modules update.

RMI has removed the software download & even with both subscriptions wouldn't let me download most documents

I noticed that although the Google drive showed all the software my end the VDS wasn't visible to others
I've added 2 zip files both the same, the one with CDC at the end isn't passworded so Google can still see the contents & may hide it again, one without CDC has a password which is VDS2 which will stop Google from hiding it
Not sure why it only dislikes the VDS installer

Now, in the download area from MG - Repair & Maintenance Information the webpage redirects to Digidentity and there is nothing to download. I tried to create an account in digidentity, but I can only log in but there are no downloads in this section.

Yep same, luckily there's a copy of the software from that page on my Google drive

I also downloaded the software a few months ago, with the one hour printing rights.

Odd with the printing rights it wouldn't let me download the software, had to get diagnostics subscription
If you select model top right does it allow you to view documents, even with both subscriptions it wouldn't let me
