I've been reading through various ac charging posts ( as a newbie who hasn't taken delivery of his car yet ) and haven't noticed any mention of OCPP.
I swapped to Octopus Intelligent from Go a few months ago and started using OCPP on my Walbox Pulsar Max / Kia Soul 30kwh. I use the cars schedule to limit the time the car will request a charge to cheap rate ( 2330-0530) and charge my domestic battery between 2330-0530. This stops Octopus from draining my domestic battery with their random cheap electricity windows during 0530-2330hrs.
Then I configure Octopus Devices in the Octopus app to charge as much as required (%) by 0530. The Wallbox app happily sits in the middle telling me it's being controlled by OCPP and it's all working.
So, anyone else use Octopus Intelligent Go ( now) OCPP ? Are MGs 'on the list'
