I've been keen to see the PCP pricing on this
I'd be looking at my trade in of £9000 and doing 12000 miles a year

I found this PCP calculator - Car Finance PCP Calculator
Which is accurate when compared with the Trophy PCP on Luscombe's website

I did some very pigeon maths to approxiate the optional final payment for different miles, based on the MG5 PCP calculator on the MG website

6000 = £13421.50 (Figure from Luscombe)
9000 = £12482.00
12000 = £11608.25
15000 = £10795.68


Putting them into the calculator with
Dealer Deposit of £4500 (£2500 PICG, £1500 Finance Contr, £500 Mike's offer)
My deposit £9000
12000 Miles

It worked out as £240 a month for the Trophy in white

I gave up on my local dealer and got in contact with Chorley.

Didn't bother with the part-ex as I don't think I'll want to do a 9 hour round trip!

Also looked at the kind of mileage I've previously done by looking at old, precovid MOT history online... Nearer to 8k miles per year.

Revised figures...

£4k total deposit
8k miles per year
48 month term.

Black = £373.90
White = £361.40

10k miles per year...

Black = £396.xx
White = £384.xx
(Didn't write down the pence).

... And yes, going to put a deposit down. Told him I'd phone tomorrow after double-checking mileage needs.

I'll be going for the 8k miles in white...I prefer black cars but I thought the plastic trim around the wheel arches looked naff against the black paintwork.

Also for anyone interested, I was told delivery is £40 loading fee + £1 per mile.

So for me it should cost £248.

Hi all, I ordered mine from Martyn at Chorley. I went for the trophy connect in red. I live in Norfolk but I'm going to take a day out to collect it. £33 on the train and test out the range on the way home..... 240 miles
