Yesterday for the first time since the install last September being at home got the chance to have the car plugged into the Zappi for most of the day which was bright and breezy with a hint of cloud.

Pretty pleased with the results from the solar.

The Winnie V10 6.8ltr loves E10 when we can find it, I think it appreciates the added octane rating without the burn being too fast, if diesel wasn't so expensive it would probably power on with a 25% diesel to 89 octane that they try to sell off as 91 octane over here ..... if it was much further down the fuel chain it could be used as a kero substitute

Out of interest as you got me at v10 6.8 litre, what mpg you get?

It's good on the down hill bits, not quite so good on the flat bits, and down right scary on the up hill bits, but it averages around 50ltr/100km, I can get better than that if I really tried, but 49ltrs/100km doesn't really seem worth the sacrifice :ROFLMAO:
That is with the MG4 on the dual axle trailer, so roughly 12.5 tonne rolling weight .... but it can pull out and overtake a road train much like the one on that Across the Nullarbor by Road Train video I posted else where, but on an uphill climb, not just on the flat .....

Just to see how painful that is in your numbers, 5.65mpg and 2km/ltr ..... and everything over here is a long way apart, back to where we moved from on the NSW South Coast, 1600km one way, roughly 800ltrs (175 imperial gallons).

Keep in mind, when running it on LPG the cost is roughly 45p/mile if converted to the rather confusing UK method of measuring distance and money .....

Let me know when your next filling up and where, I’ll buy share in your petrol company.

Our energy bills for a large all electric home (pool pumps, 2 x ducted aircon, large shed, water supply and waste water pumps) and two EVs for last six months:

We are currently $141.12 in credit. I've not actually had to pay an energy bill for ages.

The current period from 1 April we are in credit for $4.67, plus another $50 referral bonus to be applied.

Our annual energy bill without the solar and battery would be ~$6.5k.
