So I found these two products online and I just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with these.

Bose Tweeters: Saic Bose Tweeter for MG

Plug and Play Trunk Subwoofer (That fits absolutly perfect)

If this works as easy as its seems to me than that would be a great upgrade that doesn‘t require a lot of rewiring and other adjustments. Shure, you pay a premium for the sub but the perfect fit and ease of installation would be worth it for some people I think.

Looks good. But to be fair, I'm more than happy, with the set up in my X Power, personally think it sounds great. But each,
to their own. 🙂👍

Had a quick look on their website, and they say its simple to fit. Just Plug and play. No cutting, crimping, soldering etc. But just says MG4 nowt else. No particular models. Probably best to get In touch with them. Make absolutely sure it's right for your model. As it certainly ain't cheap. 🙂👍

Is that a pun? Or is it actually a Shure branded product?;)

I received an answer:

1) The upgrade by Speaker City is for both speaker configurations (4 and 6 speakers). If you don't have speakers in the rear it´s not an issue - It will just stay silent.

2) Speaker City is a one man company/shop and it's run by a German guy (who also is incredibly nice) and therefore the sub is not a standalone branded product - The housing is specifically designed for the Mg4 and the setup uses the Helix IK S10 with the Match M5.4 DS (pre programmed).

Just finished the latest upgrade to my Trophy sound system. I had this all professionally fitted with sound deadening to the front doors.

I previously owned an Audison APBX 8 DS 500w active sub woofer which was installed last week into the boot of my MG4. Yesterday I had fitted a pair of Hertz CK650L 300w component speakers at the front being driven by an Audison SR4. 300 amp.

The plan was to fit Audio Prima APK165s to the front but I was told there was a space issue so the Hertz speakers were fitted instead.

All Virtual surround and virtual subwoofer switched off. I thought the virtual Sub did an OK job of adding some bass but having had the Audison sub in my previous car there was no comparison. The SR 4:300 amp really drives the front speakers and alot more detail and separation is apparent from my initial testing. Sounds amazing! 😍
