Picked mine up today . Salesman sat in the car with me to run through how stuff works and I noticed it was R24 , told him it wasn't the latest software but he insisted PDI had installed latest updates. Anyway we couldn't get the ismart app to bind to the car so he got the young tech to look and he immediately notice the R24 and updated it to R33. However ismart will still not bind to the car so I have taken the car and they are going to get a fix from MG asap. To be fair the salesman just believed that it was all updated and the young tech lad did his best to sort it out. They will call me when they have a solution.Picked up the new Trophy this morning (my girlfriend’s). Guess what…. R24 too! I am fuming. There’s really no excuse at all
Mine got replacedNope. They’re too useless for that. I raised that and also the faulty door button and they basically said make note of how often it happens and maybe they can raise it with MG. At which point I basically just walked off

He sat in the car with me , plugged in a usb memory stick and installed it. Pretty quick really. He did it twice to hopefully solve the ismart problem but still wouldn't bind. I'm sure they'll fix it for me.Any idea how they did it? I assume they took it back into the garage and plugged it in?

Took car for recall software update a couple of weeks ago. No issues since. Today car will not bind to iSmart app. Removed, reinstalled. Reset password - I cannot get a key code for app by text but email works fine. Wasting a lot of time doing this..

It should appear in the "User" menu -> "Messages".Yes weather info there and up to date. I do however have a message notification top right which I haven't had before. No message evident!
The tech guy seemed to think it was connected to the R33 update. He said he had heard of cars not being able to connect the wireless services or create a hotspot after the update which I think is what has happened to mine. Great. Just checking you don't live next door to the dealer?How about this for service. My dealer is going to bring a courtesy car to my house in the morning so that I can get to work, take my car to fix the software, then the tech is going to bring my car back when I get home to pick up the courtesy car and ensure my ismart binds and works ok.
