Judging purely from the wheeltrims, the one at the back is a "Phase 1" (no rear wiper) and the one in front is a "Phase 2" (rear wiper included).

Just wheeltrims over some very not-good-looking alloys, same as the other one.

Smurf seen about 11.15 this morning driving south on the A702 just south of Edinburgh. Specifically the car was just entering the new roundabout at the junction with Mauricewood Road near Penicuik. I was driving north, just exiting the roundabout.

It was like looking in a mirror. I think the car was an SE but I couldn't be entirely sure. I waved, but I don't think the other driver saw me as it was a brief encounter and he was driving into the sun.

That car's reg no began SL same as mine, which is why I thought it might be you.

I saw another smurf today in Edinburgh, Morningside Road/Bruntsfield Place, driving north about 10.15 to 10.30. I was in a bus behind it, having left Caliban parked somewhere in Morningside. This one had a reg no beginning with N or M I think.

S means the car was registered in Scotland and the L is for Edinburgh

Yes, that's why I thought the first car was Alix, because we bought our cars from the same dealer, in Edinburgh, only about a fortnight apart. But the second car was registered somewhere else.

Yes but they both have black roofs, my23 does not have black roof have they? Thought that was reserved for XP.

The first Trophys (without the rear wiper and central headrest) have black roofs.

My Extended has wipers, central headrest (removed!) and a black roof. I think the ERs still keep the black.
