MG4 Spotted! : Was it you?

Perfect! That was my favourite colour for the 911, especially on a 997 GT3. Never seen an MG4 in that colour though.

ahh yes i meant Holborn Blue?

Red 74 plate SE turning from Kirk Street into Wellbrae, Strathaven, this morning around 9.45am. (I was crossing Kirk Street further down, walking the dogs).

Saw three MG4s on our travels today.

First one (White) was on the A4074 near Ipsden. Apologies I didn't notice in time to wave - I was looking at the radio.

Second one (Grey '23 SE like ours) I was standing by our car in Lower Earley so didn't wave.

Third one (White) was on A327 going into Fleet. Don't think I got a wave back. Nice fangs!

There are several of us over in the Isle of Wight. I regularly pass three or four blue ones and several orange XPowers on my way to golf and back again, not to mention at least 3 MG5's working as taxis, and I lose count of the ZS's that I see!

I've seen lots of MG4s in Glasgow but I rarely see any gen 1 MG5s like mine. Strangely, I saw a silver 2021-style MG5 last week with a 2025 reg number - how is that possible?

France is the place to be, Brittany to be precise with its narrow twisty roads. I need to go to the dealer in St Brieuc (which is also a Ford dealership) for a refresher look at all the cars. Does mean that after a year of ownership I still draw looks from passers-by(its the orange of course). There is a white one near me. I did a four hour round trip on Thursday. A trip home to Northern Ireland one of these days is in the offing.

There was a Grey MG4, 23 plate last weekend in the apartments opposite is in Bournemouth. Today I've come across 2 Blue MG4 Trophy models, one was on the A40, a 72 plate. The other a 23 plate parked up in Edgware again opposite ours.

I spotted a few on my road trip this week, a few orange on the motorways and a blue on charge at Scotch Corner services

Also saw this Tango spotted at Woodall services by Matt Watson, time stamp 17:21

See quite a few these days.
Maybe someone else being dragged through all the perfume stores by their daughter.

Yesterday whilst visiting Pitlochry, I decided to do a quick boost on the Charge Place Scotland chargers at Rie-Achan Rd car park, mainly because it was thronged with tourists and the car park was full. I pulled in to a bay and lo and behold there was a Camden Grey Trophy next to me. I said 'hello' to the gentleman and could see that he was pre-occupied with charging and said he was only getting half a Kw instead of 50Kw. I carried on plugging in, scanned my CPS card...not authorised🤨. I selected contactless option...not authorised 😣. I phoned the helpline and they answered promptly, he suggested a remote reset...which sent it into a software update😫. Meanwhile fellow MG4 owner beside me had now entered into a discussion with his call handler and was also getting irritated.

As the update was taking longer than expected and our family were hanging about waiting for me, I decided to move to the other side of the bays where the other two charge points were unoccupied and try my luck there. As I parked up I still had my call handler on the line and I apologised for keeping him so long, "no worries" he said jovially "I'm here till late". I soon discovered that both chargers are brand spanking new and not even identified and not powered up.😩. They should have had 'Not in Use' covers on them and the other EV drivers, as well as myself, arriving during my debacle would have been informed better instead I stopped a Tesla and a Polestar from lining up to use them.

I thought I'd go back to my previous charger, only to find that the other MG4 had now moved over on to it at the instruction of his call handler. Thinks🤔, I'll move onto the one he has just left...nope, both CCS and AC charge plugs were completely wrecked.🤬. I told my call handler and he asked me to take photos and send them to him, which I dutifully did. So fellow MG4 owner, WAS THIS YOU🤔 was this your experience as well.🤔 I finally found a parking space just opposite the chargers as it was being vacated just at the right time. 😃

I should add that when we arrived in Kinloch Rannoch at 4.30pm on Saturday, there was a Camden Grey MG4 on the charger in The Square, was this you🤔🙂.
