New MG4 Shipment?

Been waiting for 8 weeks for my new MG4 since placing my order. Status just says transit to UK. Anyone else waiting on here have a better indication of time scales? Thanks

I ordered a White Trophy on 26th Feb and was told 2 to 3 weeks. Only info now from dealer is they're confident it will be very soon, would be nice to know what ship they're on, if on a SAIC ship the closest one is docked at Livorno Italy.

Yeah, I have been keeping an eye out for certain vessels. I've been told mid April for mine, even though it's been stuck on transit to UK for 2 months. MG4 SE LR

I'm not sure whether to regret missing this experience or not! Having driven off in my SE SR only five days after having my test drive. It was a euphoric five days though!

When I ordered mine back in October 22 the dealer gave me the ship it was on - was 'fun' tracking it through the Suez canal and all the way to the UK port!

Yeah I wanted something similar, however the leasing company won't provide those details

Which just about sums up the quality of the journalism, really.

I suspect most of them are MG4s. Some happy people in the pipeline. There's a thread on Twitter where people are saying things like, "But I thought no shipping line would carry them," and "when one of these catches fire it's going to be a supernova," and "aren't EVs supposed to be parked ten feet apart?" All tongues firmly in cheek of course.

Completely wrong about EVs being sold at £10k, they are confusing the MG3 with the other models. But I would expect such a poor quality of journalism from that rag.

Usual 'clogging the roads' and 'mobile intelligence platform' nonsense - Do they have ANY idea how many consumer products are made in China? Like the phones that I expect most Sun journalists use every day.

Not even worth using as toilet paper in my estimation.

I thought it was really funny. Schrodinger's EV. Nobody wants them, but there are fears that they're going to clog up the roads.

I wonder if any of these cars are destined for our members?
