Hello all. Can anybody tell me how long my ZS ev 2025 will keep going for when the battery is approaching zero volts? Does it stop straight away or does it have a reserve, therefore reducing range anxiety.
My old car, a Honda Jazz when it reached empty used to say you have so many miles available, usually about 15 miles and would keep going, so no range anxiety there.

At zero volts you car's battery is toast, never to be recovered or used again. Off to the recyclers. Fortunately that will never happen in normal use as the BMS will prevent discharge below a minimum voltage threshold.

As to range, when state of charge indicates 0% I would treat that as meaning the well is dry but the range estimator should give some idea.

Just don't allow the battery to become discharged that far unless there is no choice.

In reality you won't or shouldn't experience any range anxiety wherever you go. There are chargers all over the place & it's improving all the time. I have to confess I never have range anxiety wherever I go. If I go into the wilds where there are going to be fewer chargers I make sure I charge to 100 % before I start the trip & check Zapmap before I head out so I can plan for a charge should one be needed. I've never ever had a charging issue.
