Thanks for that, they’re swirled to pieces on mine and the first thing I see in full sunlight, and the surround at the gear selector is quickly going the same way!I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound on a soft to medium polishing pad on my Ryobi machine polisher. The compound is great on all surfaces as it is not too harsh. You simply need to keep making passes until you are happy with the finish. It's almost foolproof in my opinion and crucially does not damage plastics or glass so you don't have to mask up before use. Incidentally, the rear quarter plastics were by far the most scratched panels on mine as well.
I have some Meguiars compound, so will have to give it a go.
Mind you, I only have those pads you can attach to a battery drill, so likely need to be pretty careful with them. Should still be achievable with a bit of patience by the sounds of it though.
