I have been getting a lot of suggested videos on YouTube about car interiors, an example would be a buch of these:

So, i started wondering what has the comunity done so far to improve rhe look and feel of the MG4 interior.

I would love to see some photos or short videos, as well as your story.

A usb light under the deck, perfect for finding small stuffs in the middle glove box.
Small doll from my kids.
The only thing ruining my view us just the cable, but needed for android auto.

Looks nice. I ordered one that looks like the holder in the video i posted. Only less chrome to hopefully blend in. Fingers crossed.

How is the stability of AA for you? I stopped using it since it always worked long enough to get my hopes up, but than after 30 minutes on the highway, or if the street grid becomes too busy, it would disconnect. At usually just as i need to take a turn or exit the highway. Any prooven usb cable?

I’ve done the foot well lights, Quadlock wireless CarPlay dongle (stuck it underneath the shelf so you can’t see it), a dash mat to help with the heat and glare from the Aussie sun.

I’ve replaced the mat on the wireless charger with a 3D printed one that has MagSafe in it, although it doesn’t really work as well as I had hoped to be honest, maybe with a better phone case.

I also added a little tray in the middle arm rest for some extra storage.
And added some car mats and a mat in the boot.

Not really an interior upgrade but I also added a frunk and gas bonnet struts, and the mudflaps. And I had dashcams installed with an external battery for added runtime in parking mode.

I've posted these on other threads too but might as well put them on this one as well.
Added a storage tray in the top of the centre arm rest, otherwise the storage is deep and things difficult to find.

To help with the lack of light in the back I added a USB ambient light plugged into the rear USB socket. Touch switchable on/off, with LED's facing upwards and downwards.

I've had footwell lights in my cars as far back as my Peugeot 205, when I got my license. So of course this was one accessory high on my list to do. However this is the first time I've had dashcams installed, and as I suspected they used the fuses I was going to use for my light strips. I also wasn't super keen on accessing the fuses in the first place, if one ever blows I might just get the dealer to do that for me (which is probably what they want any way).

So instead of tapping into fuses or another installer's wires (warranty) I ended up buying these strips with a USB-A connector...

Absolutely no way! the inside is like a tip, not on purpose but it is a road safety measure........ I would be so embarrassed if it was in crash that it makes you drive more carefully. No sniggering tow truck, firemen or ambulance personnel to be judgemental. And definitely, no photos.

it's probably different since i live in Indonesia and i don't have aliexpress here, but to answer your question:
-the holder is piano black and matte colored. same color with the interior, so yea it blend in perfectly. got it from baseus brand.

• search for USB LED light. only 1 USD each. very cheap. again, i got it from my local online market. should be easy to find in chinese aliexpress.
• AA is stable, no problem with disconnection. i use pretty good ( i.e not cheap) cable from, again, baseus brand ( probably local brand, but chinese made).

Oh I forgot I also bought the brushed pedals. The brake one replaces the original rubber pad (pull off and pull back on) and the accelerator slides over but is securely attached with overlapping tabs.

Oh I forgot I also bought the brushed pedals. The brake one replaces the original rubber pad (pull off and pull back on) and the accelerator slides over but is securely attached with overlapping tabs.

The brake pedal cover i managed to put on so easy, under 1 minute.

But the accelerator one i spent over half an hour and gave up. The tabs are on 3 sides only and so small that it might be even a safety issue if they come off that easy. If i can even fit it.

Any tips? Also, does it fall off?

I think the accelerator did take a bit more force and struggle to get on, but it hasn’t moved at all since fitting it. If I remember correctly I ended up sort of sliding it on like a glove and then pulling the tabs in place.
