Wish I'd seen this thread before letting Google Play update a load of apps. New version just doesn't work. Connects to car, but can't read any status, not even the battery percentage. Thinks it's 127 degrees C inside the car. Also the white theme is hard work on the eyes, and it's the only theme option. Serious step backwards.

Wouldn't have made any difference.
Going into the old app popped up an update message and the only thing you could do was hit the update button...nothing else worked!

Mine is working, but annoying having to type the password to log in all the time. They couldn't just use fingerprint or face ID?

OK, so I've actually had some success with the app now. I had to go out to the car, with the key, get in, start it by hitting the brake pedal. Then hit refresh in the app. It's now getting vehicle status and location ok. Also, the preheat now works when the car is switched off, but it reset the default temp to 22 degrees C, so had to change that.

Remote unlock, lock without the key also works (not sure it did before), but keyless start says success, but car still asks for the key to be put in the glovebox. Not sure if keyless start is Trophy only option?

Face ID is an option in the settings on the new app. Haven't tried it though.
Also, now mine's logged in, it stays logged in.

Face ID (or fingerprint) only supplements/replaces entering the PIN code for starting HVAC etc. It's not (currently) used for logging in to the app (unfortunately).

PS - I've checked Play Store and there's already an update, to v2.0.1. Doesn't seem to make much difference that I can see though, apart from removing the iSmart was running in the background banner when you close it.

I have the ZS as well and can't seem to find seat heating either. would be gutted if it's not available for it. My older Kona had that in the Hyundai app. Especially in this weather, I'd like it if the car had heated seats from the app

No issues updating the IOS version for me. Accepted previous details and all logged in no problem. Like the look of this, and nice to see they’re developing it…and appear to be listening too which is great!

It now supports Face ID on Apple devices and the digital key is on the home page

In the Android version it's under the Face icon for Settings - change Metric to Imperial.

Just upgraded. App works fine for me. Keys? Who needs keys nowadays?
I think it’s just the change that’s going to bother some people.

My app updated just fine on iPhone. Really happy with the new interface. The UI is so much cleaner and more intuitive. Good luck to those struggling with installation etc; you’ll get there!

Pretty painless here - iphone 14 all seems to work fine.
Had a little play with new functions and my nearest ev station is Muang Hak 1 5995 miles away!!

Still logging me off after about an hour of non use and then wanting full login details again (token expired message). Loses my Imperial settings and Face ID settings each time .

IPhone IOS here - no 2.01 yet.

I think they will add a dark mode but they could have put it on before release. Rushing into things again. They need to test more before release , I can't stand white mode on anything.
