Previously said we have the newest model as fleet cars at work and they are still really efficient, I have done a mix of driving over the winter and the lowest economy I've seen is 3.5 m /kWh And that was a really cold day with lots of stop starting journeys

Refreshed mini countryman is supposed to be good, they have made it more efficient (changed parts in the motor and bearings apparently on the 2026 model. 65kwh usable battery over 310 mile range, plenty space and luggage capacity and brand new £30k

I like the ambient lighting, it changed with the driving mode in mine, so pretty much stays the same in comfort mode

Battery discharge isn't linear in most cars. why would you need to stay in the 300 mile zone? I tend to charge my car to 80% and charge again around the 30% mark (sometimes under)

Huge difference between 50 and 60 on motorway/dual carriageway. 50 will force trucks buses etc to do pretty slow overtakes, thus backing up traffic in the outside lane, which is inconsiderate and causes frustration. No issues with 60/65 as larger vehicles won't need to overtake

As has been said, in response to point 5. All new MGs support OTA updates however MG haven't implemented it. It is due to be rolled out to the IMs this year. If the updates are like other makes they will arrive when your car has been left linked to your house WiFi

Poor real world range for a bigger battery car, 78kwh usable and averages 250 miles combined real world. 295 miles claimed on website which is low for a battery that size and according to autotrader ins group 45 Changan Deepak S05 coming this year, looks really well specced.

There will be negative equity but it is the finance companies issue. Who with any common sense is going to pay the GFV for a car in negative equity..
