Had anyone used the Tesla chargers at Aviemore recently. I used them a few times in the past, but not sure if they are still compatible with MG anymore.
This just started today. I plug my phone in for android auto. The car immediately tries to call itself.
I figure this is Bluetooth issue, so I turn off the blue tooth on the phone and it stops. Then the Bluetooth turns itself back on then away it goes again calling itself!
So try to turn off the...
Returning from NW Scotland to London, we had a problem with the rapid chargers at the Ionity rapid chargers at Gretna Green. It would take payment and connect, but not charge.
Had a word with the helpline and they activated it from their end and gave me a free charge from 13% to 80.
Very helpful.
I fitted an OBD Bluetooth dongle to use with ABRP. The video I watched suggested that it should be taken off when not in use,as it makes the cars vulnerable to hacking.
Any thoughts?
Has anyone else an episode when the ACC (and associated systems) suddenly stopped working ( I can't remember the exact warning) mid journey then coma back on a hour or so later? It's happened occasionally when starting the car I've just restarted and its been fine, but this is the first whilst...
More accurately how to raise the windscreen wipers without scratching the paint on the edge of the bonnet. I raised the drivers side wiper and immediately took the paint off the edge of the bonnet facing it. Small but annoying., But I can't raise the wiper high enough to easily access it. I must...
So finished my first trip to Scotland and back to London.
The car performed well. In fact the ACC and the MG Pilot made the motorway driving less tiring than usual.
Learning to manage recharging was interesting. The outwards trip was poorer due to trying to max out the battery, whereas the...
Ok. Another issue has started. When I start the car there is a bad smell which could be electrical in nature. It stops after a minute or so.
Anyone else experienced this and can give soothing reassurance or am I about to be quite alarmed!
My 1 month old ZS LR is now showing 174 miles range at 80% charge, suggesting max range of 217 miles. This has only happened after a 600 mile, heavily laden trip.
Is this because the range based on real time information or this my car faulty?
So I've completed my first long range trip in an EV, a Mk 2 ZS LR.
We went from South London to the North West Coast of Scotland.
The range on the car when fully loaded is difficult to estimate.
Charging is more of a challenge than anticipated! Charging time is longer than initially estimated...
Do all ZS's have 4g? or at least some network comms.
If so does that mean they can update over the air?
Does that mean the app only works where there is coverage or direct BlueTooth connection?
Can anyone tell their experiences of deriving from London to the NW coast of Scotland and more specifically how much longer it takes than with an ICE.
First experience with an EV (ZS LR) and am a little concerned about the long range trips (about 650 miles each way).
Just received my ZS LR Trophy. Seems fine apart from the Satnav which will not track or update. It logs the position when the car starts and will map the route just doesn't track when moving.
Am I missing an option to start navigation?
