The Toyota RAV4 EV is an all-electric version of the popular RAV4 SUV produced by Toyota until 2014. Two generations of the EV model were sold in California, and to fleets elsewhere in the US, with a gap of almost ten years between them.
The first generation was leased from 1997 to 2003, and at the lessees' request, many units were sold after the vehicle was discontinued. A total of 1,484 were leased and/or sold in California to meet the state's mandate for zero-emissions vehicle. A small number were sold or leased in fleet sales in other states. As of mid-2012, there were almost 500 vehicles still in use in California. Production of the second generation EV was limited to 2,600 units during a three-year run, with sales limited to California beginning in 2012. Production ended in September 2014. A total of 2,489 units of the second generation model were sold in California through April 2015.Toyota worked together with Tesla Motors and Panasonic to develop the second generation RAV4 EV, and the electric SUV was released in the United States in September 2012. The US Environmental Protection Agency rated the second generation RAV4 EV with a range of 103 mi (166 km) and a combined fuel economy rating of 76 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (3.1 L/100 km).
How is this possible? Ad says 'Brand New' but car has 17" wheels, no rear wiper, no central headrest. So about 18 months old

Trading standards, anyone?
Hello!
Newbie here... After a week or so reading reviews etc I've just ordered an MG 4 Trophy extended range. It will be my first EV, so I thought it would be really useful to shout out to owners, as I'm sure there will be things I'm not aware of, or don't fully understand.
I have a daily 20...
So what will you trade up to after your MG3 Hybrid? Is it a transition step to full EV? Keeping it forever? Switching brands?
I am leaning towards trading up to a 2025 MG ES5, full EV, which is based on the MG4 platform. Sticking with MG, I need a bit more room.
Hi everyone. Any recommendations from experience for new tyres for ZS EV facelift?
My Maxxis have worn quickly so looking to replace all 4 now with better ones. Thanks for any input.
I need some advice as a complete newbie to EV’s.
I am very interested in the MG4ER but have some concerns about range and could do with some experienced drivers confirming the true figures.
I can put a home charger in but I regularly drive 200+ miles for social and business and don’t want to...
MG ZS LR 22 plate at a home with 6.6Kwh of solar panels and a smart meter, 'old' (2020) PodPoint charger 7Kwh but not compatible with Octopus. I see Octopus offer a choice of 4: Zappi, Hypervolt, Ohme Home Pro and Ohme Epod. (we also have a 70 plate Renault Zoë)

One of my concerns with a EV was range.
My last Diesel would easily do 800 miles to a tank occasionally 900 miles and on one or two occasions when the conditions were favourable 1000 miles to a tank of fuel.
A tank of 70ltrs easily cost over £100 and has been as much as £130 to fill when fuels...
I’m thinking of having a wall charger installed & as my electricity is delivered by Eon, I’m thinking of the Eon Wallbox Max.
Does anyone have experience of this?
Is this something he way to go or should I be looking at a different supplier?
Any advice gratefully received
Yes I know the connection ports are waterproof but as winter is coming was looking at adding some protection against the rain and snows to come so got this, magnetic padded strips, universal fit for most EVs, (fits MG4 perfectly), got mine on Amazon for speed of delivery and return if not...
We are in the process of building a new house. My commute will increase to about 110 km a day so I'm assuming I will be charging almost daily, especially if I want to use some excess solar power (I work in education so I'll be home by 4 pm most days). We are looking at 14kWh solar system, which...

I have driven my 70 plate ZS MK1 from new and have 43,0000 miles on the clock.
It has been serviced regularly by MG, it is still on the original tyres and has been very reliable with short 5 mile journeys and occasional 500+ trips too. I am a happy MG owner.
Warranty jobs have included new HVAC...
I know, bear with me.
We are after a replacement for our trickle charge lead (the one with the 3 pin UK mains plug) which we ordered through Clarkes of Kidderminster (clown show, I do not recommend them).
On mentioning that we were charging this way (we are in rental for a while and will have...
