granny charger

Well starting to get some reasonable sunny weather and I'm now using granny charger, my batteries are now fully charged around 11.00 AM and then I charge car for the rest of the day. I haven't use the 6KW charger for over 2 weeks so I'm hoping to solar charge for the coming summer.

Is this right? I'm happy with the charge rate on the granny charger, but at 50% the forecast range is about 260 miles. Seems very low, even in the current temp.

My MG OEM granny charger came from my MG5 where as I recall it used to input nearly 3 KW. I am now using it on my S6 and it only does between 1.9 and 2.1 KW. Has any one else got better charging rates or is this an S5 thing? Perhaps not all granny chargers are the same?
