MG ZS EV subcompact crossover electric SUV
The MG ZS EV is a subcompact crossover electric SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer SAIC Motor under the MG marque.

An all electric version made its debut as EZS at the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, featuring a 44.5 kWh battery, and a front positioned motor producing 143 PS (141 hp; 105 kW) or 150 PS (148 hp; 110 kW) and 350 N⋅m (35.7 kg⋅m; 258 lb⋅ft) to the front wheels. It is available in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, Thailand, China, and India.

It was revealed in Australia in November 2020 as the cheapest electric car in the market of all time. MG Australia predicted a sales target of 3,000 unit for the 2021 model year.

Except for China, the electric SUV is officially named as ZS EV, while the official name in China is EZS.

    Range drops almost immediately after charge

    Hi all, When charged to 100%, display tells me I’ve a range of 167 miles on eco. After about a mile, it drops to about 148. Apparently my batter cells are at 448 volts after full charge. Anyone any ideas? Thanks!

    Free charge from Ionity!

    Returning from NW Scotland to London, we had a problem with the rapid chargers at the Ionity rapid chargers at Gretna Green. It would take payment and connect, but not charge. Had a word with the helpline and they activated it from their end and gave me a free charge from 13% to 80. Very helpful.

    When cleaning out the boot of my Excite I lifted out the removable floor to give it a brush down when I noticed an empty space in the puncture repair kit tray, I then realised there was no car jack and wheel nut spanner. Is this normal or should I go back to the dealer.

    ZS EV Trophy LR Regen braking strength.

    I have just upgraded from a ZS EV non facelift to a facelift Trophy Long Range. One of the first things that I noticed was that the regen braking seems weaker. Do other people who have gone from a non facelift to a facelift feel the same?
