In automotive design, an RR, or rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout places both the engine and drive wheels at the rear of the vehicle. In contrast to the RMR layout, the center of mass of the engine is between the rear axle and the rear bumper. Although very common in transit buses and coaches due to the elimination of the drive shaft with low-floor buses, this layout has become increasingly rare in passenger cars.
I recently upgraded the front MG4 emblem with a sleek black version, and it looks fantastic. However, I've started to find the "MG Electric" badge on the trunk slightly irritating. Has anyone discovered a safe method to remove it?
Moreover, I'm interested in finding a replacement for it...
Not being able to source a polished stainless steel rear bumper protector for my wife's MG5 to prevent scratches when the dog jumps in, I bought this simple rubber one from Amazon to do the job in the interim. At £9.99 it was excellent value, easy to fit if you take your time and looks the part...
I’ve noticed that going into ‘one pedal’, the rear drive (motor?) seems to ‘tighten up’ the drive train, trying To work out if it’s an effect of being in max regen in this mode. Once stationary and in ‘hold’ mode after about a minute the rear end seems to relax with a gentle bump. Feels like...

I do not know how common the problem with the rear hatch not responding to pressing the button on the rear hatch or the keyfob are, my phase 1 Luxury/Trophy did this from time to time when on infotainment software R30 (what happens with...
On friday driving to the airport, I got a warning about one of my rear tyres. Then later I got a warning about the second one. What is a tyre/wheel anomaly? Driving back from the airport on Monday, the tyres reported fine. Any ideas?
Does anyone know what the advantage of the rear wing or spoiler has? Is there any data from MG with the drag coefficient difference with and without?
I assume as the higher spec cars have them and it's an advantage but i was wondering if that was really the case or it just "looks good"
I am...
Seriously, what do you do when there is condensation on the outside of the rear window? Do you wipe it with a towel then put the wet towel into the car? Ignore it and drive with no rear visibility for several miles?
I ask because I’m sure I read somewhere it doesn’t yet every single dealer or brochure I look at says it , the MG4 EV SE SR does have rear wiper and tinted windows. If I go dealer tomorrow and there’s no rear wiper then I’m going to assume it’s a previous batch of cars and reject it I think...
I'm taking an xpower out for a test drive this Sunday and am 95% its the car for me, however I do like to crank my music somewhat. I know the Tropey has rear speakers but I am struggling to find out if the xpower has them too, does anyone know?
edit: solved thanks to isb777 - yes it does.
