So got some new boots fitted last week to the minty goat - went for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 tyres. So thought I'd give some feedback. The previous tyres were Michelin e-primacy (fitted by the dealer at 600 miles to help with the vibes and they were were sooo much better than the terrible OEM Bridgestones in every respect).

Anyway impressions so far:-

Positives:
Huge amount of extra grip both for traction & cornering - traction control is having to work way less when giving it the beans in both the wet & dry
Improved braking (abs cuts in far later)
Improved ride comfort (odd one this as was unexpected)

Negatives:
Dreaded vibes are back with a vengeance - had almost become unnoticeable with previous set - balance doubled checked so it is our favourite 'characteristic' back
Slight loss of efficiency (expected)
Strongly suspect they will wear quicker

Aside from the vibes, given the performance of this car, this is definitely the sort of rubber it should have come with from the factory IMO

Interesting, I ask because EV tyres usually have less tread depth from new, and I wondered if deeper tread could make the vibes worse, it'll probably get better as the tyres wear.
I think there is something in this as assume the reason the vibes seem to improve over time with the old set of tyres maybe due to the tread depth decreasing.

I will be looking for tyres soon, as well as a 24 month service. Previous owner was going to fit tyres and have it serviced before sale, but negotiated a $1k lower prices as is. I would prefer to select my own rubber.
@MG Clive the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 6 are listed as "EV Ready" here in Australia.

I heard someone minimised their vibes by adjusting the tyre pressures front to rear fairly significantly ,,,,,,.. somethink like 43 psi rear and 38 front. Maybe worth a shot.

I know my vibe is now very minimal and the only time I feel a slight steering wheel vibe is travelling uphill at around 70mph ... i.e. when the weight distribution is towards the rear.
