I placed my order with Perth, prior to cancelling, as much as they were all quite likeable, I had zero contact instigated by them in near 3 months I had my order with them, all contact had to be made by me
Yes - unfortunately it‘s not uncommon. It’s been said many times - it’s ok not bothering too much when your sales books are full - to an extent you get away with poor customer service.
But, some customers will have long memories and in the medium to long term reputation will get damaged.
The undercurrent of poor customer service linked with issues with the actual cars is potentially a brand damaging one for MG.
As I’ve posted, I’m finding that I’m having to justify why I put up with no updates and the potential for a long wait, coupled with possible issues and further poor customer service once the car arrives. I might get a car without issues - but somehow I don’t have that confidence.
Why should it be like that? Shouldn’t buying your car and getting any issues sorted be a pleasant experience?
