Do you have a granny charger to test it from? Does it work at an AC slow charger at a supermarket? Doing those tests should help pinpoint whether the issue is with the car vs. your Zappi (or OE).

You say the AA checked the 12V battery and found no faults - do you know if they just measured the open-circuit voltage or did they use some load test equipment on it (hopefully, the latter). If so, I'd say its unlikely to be the 12V battery, from the symptoms you've described. Having said...

Agree, but in my case, the destinations I have been to since owning an EV didn't have charging facilities. Apart from holidays abroad, the longer trips I have made have been:- a) relatives with no EV charging point b) a university for drop off / pick up c) a trip to purchase or view something...
