Octopus have introduced Octoplus, the new name for the Savings sessions has appeared on my home screen of my account on the website
Opt in provided you are on Octopus and have half hourly readings
In addition to saving electricity sessions it looks like there will be free electricity, or at...
Just seen this. I don't have a Zappi so can't tell how valid or relevant this is.

On a trip soon and looking at my route a Mer charging stop with 8 rapids looks a possibility. Stop in question is Blue Diamond Worcester Garden Centre, WRS 7SW.
Has anyone any experience of Mer, or even this location. I've never used Mer berfore but an opportunity to use my Electroverse card. :)
Received an email the other day from them informing me that they're raising their pre-auth charge from £8 to £35 for PAYG customers. For those with an account a mere £25.
Not seen this reported on here so apologies if it has.
I will continue my avoidance of anything that bears their name, but if...
For anybody planning trips over this summer, or anytime really, if you like using Ionity don't forget their passport subscription. I've used Ionity a few times and once you get the charger started they work well, however relatively few locations.
For £10.99 a month (cancellable anytime with a...
Looks like Electroverse (Octopus) are introducing plug and charge using their card.
We know that plug and charge works on Fastned chargers with MGs (register car on the Fastned app) but is not currently included in the list of compatible cars with Electroverse. I have provided feedback asking if...

My AA has updated now and has the nice split screen but I was wondering how do you get rid of unwanted app icons on the screen tray/taskbar at the bottom (not the big screen with all the apps that you initially select from.) This also relates to before the update, I couldn't fathom it then...
In case anyone was wanting to go I discovered tickets are on sale now. I have booked for the northern show at Harrogate. Show dates are Fri 19th -21st May
For some reason I thought the tickets were stupidly expensive but I went on the ticket website and as an old git the day tickets are just...
I have a Rolec, works perfectly well but I have a hankering (yes hankering is allowed in polite society) to change it so that I can switch to Intelligent Octopus from Go when my fix ends.
Financially it doesn't make sense but my sense of wellbeing might be. :)
When the Rolec was installed it...
Following on from another thread where @Vipar wasn't sure whether it would be worthwhile switching to Go from the Standard Variable rate, I have created a simple spreadsheet to show the break even point between the 2 tariffs.
I have kept it very simple, taking no account of standing charge as...
I'm sure many have seen this already but for anybody still thinking hydrogen is the future, for cars or central heating then this may be worth your watching, still worth watching for everybody just to clear things up.
I checked my p*dp**nt account and in the last year i have had just short of 400kWh of free electrons from them from numerous locations.
Now that seems a lot but I'm sure our Scottish friends can knock that out of the park for free.
I got to thinking though that 400 at 7.5p on Go only works out...
Just seen this on the Speakev forum. Any comments from our resident electricians eg @BugEyed .
https://www.speakev.com/threads/thanks-bonnet-that-powers-the-house-for-a-week.170649/
Wondering if anyone uses the Bonnet refills as I have a free month still left in my wallet.
I'm asking because of the recent deception/sneakiness with the promotions where an expiry date was added at short notice and then even when using within that period I was still charged.
The refills do...
