The Toyota RAV4 EV is an all-electric version of the popular RAV4 SUV produced by Toyota until 2014. Two generations of the EV model were sold in California, and to fleets elsewhere in the US, with a gap of almost ten years between them.
The first generation was leased from 1997 to 2003, and at the lessees' request, many units were sold after the vehicle was discontinued. A total of 1,484 were leased and/or sold in California to meet the state's mandate for zero-emissions vehicle. A small number were sold or leased in fleet sales in other states. As of mid-2012, there were almost 500 vehicles still in use in California. Production of the second generation EV was limited to 2,600 units during a three-year run, with sales limited to California beginning in 2012. Production ended in September 2014. A total of 2,489 units of the second generation model were sold in California through April 2015.Toyota worked together with Tesla Motors and Panasonic to develop the second generation RAV4 EV, and the electric SUV was released in the United States in September 2012. The US Environmental Protection Agency rated the second generation RAV4 EV with a range of 103 mi (166 km) and a combined fuel economy rating of 76 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (3.1 L/100 km).
Hi
I sold my MG4 (for financial reasons, the car was great)
So I put the private reg number on retention.
It is MG13 AMP (as in a 13 amp electric socket)
I paid £600+ for it.
I don’t want to profit in any way.
So it is for sale at £350 which includes the transfer fee of £80.
The transfer...

When compared with the only current "competition" the Cyberster has, £60k is cheap.
I give you the GranCabrio EV...
It starts at, wait for it... £185,610!
For that it does outperform the cyberster a little:
Downsides are, it's not a proper ground up EV, but an ICE chassis conversion...
Hi, does anyone notice that the sunroof status is now missing in the Ismart app ,for mg zs ev, very annoying as i used to be able to see if i accidentally left the roof open at night without having to visually check.

If you're interested in how MG ZS EVs work, heaps of information in this project. You'll need a lot of time on your hands though - there are 25 episodes already and plenty more to come. I'd encourage you to start at the beginning, but here's the latest one - when I actually get the MG...
I've seen some reports / chatter about lifetime battery warranties on MG EV batteries. Will this cover all existing used models or just specific models on new sales going forward and will it be global or region specific
Hi everyone,
I'm excited to share that I'm purchasing a 2023 MG ZS EV Excite 51 base model (apparently it was a demo) with about 5,000 km on the clock from an MG dealer in Perth. The car looked immaculate, and I managed to get it for $32,000 AUD. I've already put down a $1,000 deposit to secure...

Hey guys,
I just bought a used MG ZS EV 2022 model, the car dealer said It's the long range one but how do I know it is actually the long range one? Because as you see in attached it said that the model is ZS EV LUX. Is that the long range one?
Please help!

Lukas
I know I am not the only one who seems to have a pile of middle-aged 'friends' who are all too quick to offer up all of the 'evidence' as to why EVs are a bad idea and their 80 miles to the gallon FF car is much better. Ugh. What do you do? I replied to a 'you can't charge at home so how are you...
Hi. New to this forum and new to EV cars.
I woke on Monday morning to find out that my lovely MG ZS EV had failed to charge.
Being somewhat of a hot head I contacted Ohme about a defunct charger. They were actually quite helpful and informed me it was the car. Anyway tried the local...
Hi everyone,I'm excited to share that I'll be receiving my first EV, the MG4, this week. However, I have some questions about the charging process. Can I safely charge my car to 100% all the time? I've noticed that many people recommend charging only up to 80% and avoiding 100%, but I'm not sure...
