The Toyota RAV4 EV is an all-electric version of the popular RAV4 SUV produced by Toyota until 2014. Two generations of the EV model were sold in California, and to fleets elsewhere in the US, with a gap of almost ten years between them.
The first generation was leased from 1997 to 2003, and at the lessees' request, many units were sold after the vehicle was discontinued. A total of 1,484 were leased and/or sold in California to meet the state's mandate for zero-emissions vehicle. A small number were sold or leased in fleet sales in other states. As of mid-2012, there were almost 500 vehicles still in use in California. Production of the second generation EV was limited to 2,600 units during a three-year run, with sales limited to California beginning in 2012. Production ended in September 2014. A total of 2,489 units of the second generation model were sold in California through April 2015.Toyota worked together with Tesla Motors and Panasonic to develop the second generation RAV4 EV, and the electric SUV was released in the United States in September 2012. The US Environmental Protection Agency rated the second generation RAV4 EV with a range of 103 mi (166 km) and a combined fuel economy rating of 76 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (3.1 L/100 km).
Hi guys got a 2023 Zs EV a month ago and not sure what is happening currently. I intially wasn't charging up to 100% as was using the granny lead. Now it charges to 100% the thing is that the percentage goes down whilst parked at work only once at 47-45% it will drop a couple of percent and then...
Going on holiday for 2 weeks and want to leave my MG4 EV in the car park at the airport. Does anyone have any experience of this and will the battery retain its charge?
I have a very clean tiled floor in my garage in Sydney. Have taken to keeping a small tray on the floor that seems to collect less than a quarter tea cup, say 40 ml, of water drip from the car [ 2023 MG HS + EV ] every time its parked there overnight.
The exact spot of the drip is about 120 cm...

On a facebook group for MG ZS EV owners there is a guy that is very adament that if he takes his leased MG ZS EV to a 22KW AC capable destination charger and plugs in his car, which has a 3 phase charger, he gets 22KW.
I call bullcrap, but he is very persistent.
So simple question...

Hello everyone.
We currently have a Vestel wallbox and Alpha ESS home battery (10kWh) and solar.
At peak performance the solar will generate just under 5kW, max output on the battery is 4.8kW.
I'm using solar to charge the MG today so wanted to try the wall box. Load was higher than the solar...

Hi everyone, I drive a 2021 MG ZS EV Deluxe.
Recently I have noticed that the car has a low frequency buffering/vibration noise that really made an almost vibrating noise in my ears.
To be honest it’s hard to describe, but it seems similar to the sound wind buffering makes when the window is...
Hello all.
So I am now on my 2nd HS PHEV in 2 weeks of ownership.
The first car was replaced by MG as it had a transmission fault.
I picked up my replacement this Saturday 19/04/25 and now appear to have another fault with this one, and would like to know if anyone else is experiencing anything...

Hi ppl I have just tried to do my first battery equalisation charge MG ZS EV. I missed when the car got to 100% charge. How do I know if the the equalisation manouvre (whatever it is called) actually happened? Nothing apparent from either the car itself or the MG app. So I am in the dark whether...
