The Roewe Ei5 is the electric station wagon version of the Roewe i5. Debuting during the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, the Chinese version is powered by a single electric motor producing 116 hp. It claims a range of 300 kilometers and a 145 km/h top speed.

The Ei5 was launched in the UK rebranded as the MG 5 EV in September 2020, with a more powerful, 154-hp electric motor and a 115 mph (185 km/h) top speed. With a 52.2-kWh battery, the vehicle has a range of 214 miles (344 km) in the WLTP cycle.

The Roewe Ei5 was launched in Thailand rebranded as the MG EP on 26 November 2020 with a more powerful, 163-hp electric motor and 260 nm. of Torque.

    CarMats have two boot mats available

    Annoying Animations

    Has anyone figured out how to switch off all the annoying little animations - e.g. when you adjust the a/c temperature (not required, it shows at the top of infotainment screen anyway!); when main beams come on (should be obvious because you can suddenly see things)... is it possible?

    How can I check the charging progress outside of the car without unlocking it whilst having the keys in my pocket? If I press the door handle button the car unlocks. If I leave the keys in the house and press the same button the dash simply lights up with the charging percentage.

    % battery remaining unchanged for 10 miles after charging

    On 2 occasions now after a 4 hour overnight charge from ~30-~70% I have driven for around 10 miles before then SOC % changes. Everything else is otherwise working fine! Any ideas?
