It definitely extended the warranty on the paint, but every warranty comes with handy caveats, handy for the dealership of course.
				
			I looked through the paperwork but of course now I can't find anything about it. It's listed on the invoice as Gardx Exterior & Interior Protections (GardX Protect)Seems like it is a (wipe on, rather than spray) coating. I'd be curious how they can offer a 20 year warranty - need to see some fine print. AFAIK, 9 year coatings are the current bleeding edge. Must be regular top ups (recoats?) required to get to 20 years.
Can't really complain for a free upgrade, of course, although I do like to do a wax job myself. Wish it was ceramic tinting, though...
