Can't wait to try it down Macquarie Pass, the run from Braidwood to Batemans Bay is near like driving off a cliff for the last section, not sure the regen would hold the mighty beast back down that one ;) Certainly not silly enough to try it in the motorhome .... we will cut across through Nerriga to Nowra and up the coast that way .... the road from Nowra all the way through to the expressway that bypasses Albion Park Rail is really good now, a very pleasant drive on nice wide 4 lane road

Moss Vale to Nowra via Kangaroo Valley is similar with two descents and a climb…two climbs in reverse though nearly brought me undone trying to get back to Yass. I got to the top of the second climb and hit a head wind that dropped the efficiency but gladly not enough to stop me getting home without a top-up.

Haven't done the Kangaroo Valley Rd in a very long time, should add that to the list. Jamberoo Pass is another good steep windy road, all are amazing on a motorbike, Macquarie Pass seems to claim a lot of Sunday warrior high performance motorbike riders, either loss of control on the tight bends or cutting corners, they don't give that piece of road the respect it deserves, it is a dangerous piece of road if not treated with caution .....

Yes , once got stuck behind a truck that got caught up on the bend with one wheel off the ground. They had to unload the 6 cows he had on board so that the weight distribution allowed them to get it back on four wheels😂

I do the pass often and uses heaps going up but getting good recharge coming back. Reason for the hill climb absolutely awesome cake shop in Bowral called gum nut.

I also lived in Robertson as you know it’s the home of the big potato but at the moment it has been painted to a pig 🐷 in recognition when the movie babe was made in Robertson a must c when visiting.
