Surprised it's not a characteristicNot a known issue? It was known more than 3.5 years ago ... I even had it on a checklist of known issues that I gave to my dealer before I'd even bought my car!

To be fair I think they meant not a known issue to them. First they had seen I think. My gut feeling is most people do not look under their car so do not even know if they have a problem. Not a known issue? It was known more than 3.5 years ago ... Mine was replaced free of chargeI know this is a bit of an old topic, but I took my MG4 Trophy in for its first service yesterday and mentioned the undertray bulge while it was there. Initially they were quite adamant it wasn’t a known issue and said they hadn’t heard of it. They mentioned there was no bulletin and seemed a bit sceptical.
I pushed back slightly and, to be fair to them, they agreed to have the mechanic take a look. By the end of the service they confirmed there was an issue, located the bulletin, and have now ordered the parts to get it fixed at no charge.
As it should be.Mine was replaced free of charge
Yep so is mine.Mine was replaced free of charge
Exactly but some dealers will try it on I am sure. Some rubbish like trim is only cover for 1 year.Nobody should be getting charged for a replacement for a defective part
