Possibly but the fact it has username, password as well as verification code I doubt the allow 3rd parties to have a look around
If you're getting a company account to connect to the car then I'd suggest downloading & installing the software first (I can give you access) otherwise on the RMI site you need to subscribe before it'll let you download & it's a slow server, then install the VDI software as well as SIPS/VDS, SIPS works on a 10 year old laptop, VDS doesn't, even on a modern 8 core pc it maxed out 1 core (2x logic processors) the whole time it was open
Took almost an hour to download & install all 3 for me

SAIC list it as EPC & VIN configuration
Tried EPC login & it didn't work (EPC not on RMI but they give you a login) but it was around the cut off of my subscription
Happy to get another subscription if it has the remaining updates (personally would like R46 over R59 as I use android auto a lot)

I'm guessing this is where the SNW login is used:

EPC seems to be Electronic Parts Catalog.

The SNW login is what you use for SIPS/VDS to use the software, I hadn't considered a SNW website
Hopefully someone has tried that page & can say if the login works
I had a quick look for the EPC but didn't find anything official, only people trying to sell some software

Re. text (SMS) alerts ... I don't get them but I believe you can opt to get them. I just get notifications in the iSMART app (as that's what I've opted for). But yes - I do get them when the car is getting updates.

Hi everyone.
This a very interesting thread. I have ordered a diagnostic interface for my sister's MG and would like to get the software in order before it arrives.

Is there a way to download VDS and SIPS without having to pay first, so the download and install time don't eat into the access time that has been paid for?

And on what webpage do you actually register and pay for access?

I really appreciate any help!

Thanks for the updated software, it's a fair bit newer than the version I had.
Now I just need to find a login, not so easy since MG Australia doesn't have a public access program like RMI.

From memory the software let you select China, Thailand, India or Europe
Not sure what region you'd need for Australia
If you wanted to, you could always try the RMI for about $11.55 AUD
Pay via PayPal which can convert to local currency or original currency
For me a travel card is cheaper than PayPal for euros

I thought about it, but i'd need to fake a company details and i'd probably get caught out since I wouldn't know what to put for the tax details.

Sips manual is the one from RMI site on Tuesday so it is the latest
I only had a short amount of time after downloading & installing, planning on buying a day pass next time
Attached is the software page in the SIPS software, it shows the car Vs what they have on their server ✓=up to date, X=update available

Carried out all that it would let me;
Tbox requires a USB update first
HVAC & driver seat I carried out multiple times, it said complete but still showed old version
Only calibration I didn't do was the one you need the pattern on the floor around the car but cameras still work fine
