Upgraded fine, but now all of a sudden I get "Illegal request" whenever I try anything including swiping down to refresh the status of car

My App decided to go on a “walk about” day yesterday ( as they do ).
Today, strangely enough it has returned back from it’s short break away for Xmas .
Car has not moved for a couple of days, a bit like a few of us I guess .
PLEASE tell me that all of that turkey has finally gone ! .

I managed to fix it on android with these steps:

• go to car
• turn it on and sit in it
• connect to car via Bluetooth
• make status update
• sync digital keys

Since then I can also connect remotely again

Any updates on this? I use(d) it a lot on my MG4

@mg4 On the other thread, it was suggested to:
clear the cache
log out
close the app
restart your phone
This action reinstated ‘battery heating’ on the MG ZS
Maybe worth trying to see if it reinstates steering wheel heating on your MG4?

I don't remember having that in the previous app. I used the pre heat for the heated seats but I think I had to wait 'til I was in the car before I could heat the "SW".

You can’t even switch on the heated seats or steering wheel with voice commands!!!!
