If you do a lot of public charging, it's probably worth the monthly payment to get the lower (same as Tesla owners) rate. That's definitely not me.so the fuel cost is not that much less than petrol.

Tesla charger in Shellharbour square shopping centre is absolutely free Shellharbour is near Wollongong nsw south coast.I think Tesla chargers are free to Tesla owners but are very expensive in Australia too but they always seem to be at least 4 double outlet chargers installed. Cost seems generally related to charging speed so 350kW chargers are always the most expensive so the fuel cost is not that much less than petrol.
Because Tesla chargers are not a standalone profit centre, unlike for most other charger networks. Why is it that only Tesla can install multiple chargers?
We had playlists going for our trip to and from Sydney. Sound was mostly OK enough to enjoy singing along but some tracks did sound pretty crummy/tinny. I've not done much tweaking of sound settings, not really sure what I would do with it. Seems to vary a lot depending on what is playing. Guess it's one of those try a few things and see.I found that by tweaking with the equaliser, sound balancing, virtual subwoofer and other sound settings the sound is quite acceptable
I don't believe there is any wiring in the 51 to support rear speakers.Even just the new tweeters in the dash made an astounding difference. The stock ones are just awful.
I'm still to put speakers in the rear doors.
I'm actually not sure yet.I don't believe there is any wiring in the 51 to support rear speakers.
Are you planning to just wire into the front speakers? (curious as I have a 51 as well and whilst the EQ change made it acceptable it's still quiet in the back)
Which update is that? Mine is one click for 5km/h, and impossible to get 1km/h increments unless you can time it with the precision of the blind kid playing pinball in Tommy.4. The latest updates have changed this
Yeah, but this is the "In Australia" thread. We don't have such updates available here. One of the updates recently applied to my car ... see my thread The MG4 SE 1100R33 Infotainment Thread.

Yes we do. My car went in for fault with rear window not operating last week and was kept overnight to do a heap of recent software updates including battery management. I immediately noticed the acc 5km/h and 1km/h switching reversed. Also less sensitive on slowing in bends when acc engaged.Yeah, but this is the "In Australia" thread. Thanks for the correction. Seems we are being left in the dark though, and dealer service centre staff who seem less well informed than we are.Yes we do.
Hi Coff I just had my 1k service and the dealer tried to install the update but after two attempts they said we will call you back when we get it sorted from MG my dealer is southern classic cars in Wollongong . So update failed on a positive note my car appears to do everything right.I agree 1km/h makes more sense it was more of a pleasant surprise on receiving the car.
I'm more concerned about the tailgate issue but maybe it's not that bad as i initially thought, will see how it goes but my dealer does do a 1000km check up I'll ask then and check out one of the dealership cars if it's the same.
Hope everything else is going well with your car so far. How's your tail gate? My old car was 10+ yr old and didn't have a plastic boot trim so i am wondering if i am overreacting when i feel it flex and move if i pull it up when its locked.Hi Coff I just had my 1k service and the dealer tried to install the update but after two attempts they said we will call you back when we get it sorted from MG my dealer is southern classic cars in Wollongong .
